Another Mermaid Rendering Update!

So today I got one of my papers done (the easier of the 2 :/) and made a lot of progress on my rendering project. I'm not sure if this is final or not - depends if I have time tomorrow after I write my other essay and study for my test. I would like to redo the hair. I'm pleased with it, though. Underwater is fun! It's also kinda endless because you can always add more detail.

EDIT - Comment if you think this looks too dark. It looks very different on my laptop monitor than the one I was working on in the lab :\

Week 11 Grind

This is what I look like when I have a bad cold that won't go away and two projects, two papers, and a test all due in less than 4 days.



Ah, finals week! Tales of success and vacation hopefully to come soon :P

Mermaid diorama continued

Worked on the mermaid's background a bit more today. I've been sick which has slowed me down this week :/ Fortunately I'm getting better now. I have three finals on Monday so I really need to buckle down and finish things...

Finished my Demo Reel

Well, a demo reel's never really finished - but I'm happy with it, for now! :] I also went to Canada this weekend and had a wonderful time. Back to the grind for the next two weeks, then Thanksgiving break. I have two essays and two final projects left before then.

Work o' the Day

Today I did some more work on the mermaid and also my demo reel. I've uploaded a WIP of the demo reel, comments/feedback would be great since I'm still working on it!



For the mermaid, I attempted hair. Hmm...not feeling it yet...
